The Marvel comics around issue 183 as I recall, but quickly found the Ace books and have read as much as I could ever since.

I was 9 years old in 1982 when the first movie came out. Loved it. Started collecting the comics shortly after that, than discovered the books. Have been a fan ever since.

I liked the Robert Jordan books. He certainly did not capture REH very good and his Conan was a little different, but these were very well written books. Otherwise I enjoyed Hocking and Maddox...

Although I didn't so much enjoy Conan of the Isles, I did enjoy the idea of Conan simply sailing off into the sunset to explore new lands as his "ending". Leaves it open for anything to have happened.
