Просто судя по описанию форт Венариум это небольшое поселение с фортификационными сооружениями.

Так так и есть укрепленное поселение. Городок - town. Отбабахать город за месяц точно не получится. Несколько лет, как минимум. И от Венариума, действительно осталась дословно "куча обугленных руин"
